Andorra is the country with the largest number of Romanesque monuments per square meter. There are more than 50 Romanesque monuments listed in Andorra. Due to its isolation and a lack of conflicts in the history of Andorra, the passing of time has respected the buildings and only in a few cases we find ruined temples or churches. The church of Santa Coloma, built between the ninth and tenth centuries AD, is one of the few churches in the world with cylindrical bell tower.
In Andorra we can find a variety of museums, in particular the Electricity Museum in Escaldes, the National Automobile Museum in Encamp, the "Casa de la Vall" in the capital, the Postal Museum and Museum house of Areny-Plandolit in Ordino.
